Oro Chiaro was a rare colour, so with the wiper set up of your picture, there are only these two possibilities .... If you remember 630, it`s #03630.
Sold last year ... see link, maybe the pictures can tell someting, Ferrari script on the back wall of the Dino...

Our car did have the Cavalero on rear Drivers side rear along with the Ferrari script mid trunk. Tools, manuals, and jack we not sent with the car and never requested. Is there a way to find out the owners name etc? Was this car returned to ORO Chiaro Metallizzato? Our car also had the Daytona seats. I can't believe we found her. I've never seen the Cavalero positioned there, where when Dale did the color change and restore I specifically asked him to position the Cavalero there. Thanks so much for the info as you truly made my day.

02984 just out of paint shop after repairing the rusted out right front fender and a complete repaint in original Rosso Dino. Black leather seats and electric windows, no AC. Seats recovered in tan leather from RL Cox Fur and Hide in Albuquerque. Cost $10,600 in 1975 from John Romano in Poughkeepsie, NY. Steering wheel replaced after original rim broke at the top from being used to help get in and out. Traded in 1978 plus $5K for 365 GTB/4 14009. Daily driver to Cannon AFB, where I was flying F-111Ds. Only Ferrari in Clovis, NM, no surprise.

Thanks for posting your Dino pictures Terry. Brings back I'm sure some great memories. Funny everyone has the same story on original steering wheels. If it broke at 3 and 9 o'clock it's original..You got rid of 2 great cars the Dino and the Daytona. If only to do over!

Nick, do you have a higher res version of the last photo? Specifically interested in the maroon-looking 308 behind the woman with the skirt.

Here are photos of a 206GT that were taken in the parking area at the Monterey Historics in August 1976. The chassis number is a little difficult to read in the second photo, but it appears to be 00312. Sorry about the poor quality of the photos. All I had with me was a junk 35mm camera. Now I just have to find the photos of my car when I bought it in May 1976.

    Where is 00312 now?

Matthias, this car 03630, production 4/1972, it appears it has a late body configuration with the round air scoops in the front. 04124 of which I own since new has the square scoops early model built in 7/1972. When was the newer body round scoops introduced, I thought in 8/1972?

It's not uncommon to see early E series cars with the later production front nose clip fitted. This is usually down to accident damage repairs or an early restoration where the repairer has fitted a complete new front clip instead of shaping and letting in new metal which requires more time and skill to do.

My God - that looks like my Dino, sold though Chinetti and it spent much of its early years in MA, CT, and NY. Do recall any names such as E. or Edward BELHUMEUR, or Iggy MOORE?
