    A favorite show when I was a kid in England. I thought anyone could live in a trailer on PCH! James Garner was the coolest. Thanks for posting Freeman. John in CT.

    That location in Malibu was only used in the first episodes. After that the trailer was relocated to Paradise Cove. We go there once in a while. Looks almost the same as then including the restaurant. I still watch Rockford Files on Netflix.

    I believe it's all still open. BTW, only place on Christmas that's open for dinner! Another great place to have breakfast or dinner is The Old Place https://www.oldplacecornell.com in the Santa Monica Mountains. Steve McQueen used to go there. It's on Muhlholland Drive. Awesome breakfasts and steaks! You HAVE to make a reservation.
