Thanks, but its too toppy for me, even at the private sale price which was quoted by the owner yesterday. Specific car related plated will always have a limited demand.

Was not massively expensive & easy to do a search on initials etc.

Would use again.

Out of interst, have you put you're plate on the Maser? (I'm a Maser fan and a numberplates fan....tragic, I know).

Yes, plate is now on the Maserati - was on my TT before that.

Was left some money by a relative with the same initials as me in 2002 with the express wish to not spend it on anything sensible - so I got the plate & went on an expensive holiday in the Caribbean. Seems nice to remember relative by plate initials...

Two piccies of plate attached - must get more piccies of the Maser now has new plate. BTW have driven it 7,000 miles in 4 months have owned it...

Is that E3 GOM? LOL! It amazes me that the owner gets away with that (is it yours Adam? Ever been stopped?).

My Dad has a plate that is ##*** and he once, 5+ years ago, he got pulled because the second number and first letter were "1/4 of an inch too close together" He hadn't asked for it to be spaced differently, that's how the plate was made and the police told him he was misrepresenting the plate!

Ever since, I've had a huge bee in my bonnet about plates that are made to look like something they are not.

As an aside, just saw a nice plate on a Merc in Chelsea....ANY1.

 

My old boss had exactly the same thing, he had 80 B (BOB) and he was parked in Colchester and two police measured and took photos, I can't remember if it was on his 355 or his 360 that he had at the time, but one officer was really bolshy (jealous) about what he owned and that he had 7 days to change it, it was something silly like 1/4" to close on the 0 and the B.
