Just added the finishing touch to my 2023 Portofino M.

The back story is that both of my parents were born in the same town in Italy, my father in 1903 and my mother in 1911. As a tribute to their memory my new license plates is the name of the town where they were born. Why did I do this? Let’s be honest folks, without our parents guidance and love would any of us own a Ferrari?

Similar tribute to my family heritage on my car. Plate reads "BZNZWA" which is a condensed version of the name of my grandfather's hometown in Poland. Without him making the daring trek to the US in the early 1900's, my opportunities would not have happened. He had courage, intelligence, a super strong work ethic and morals, and sincerely strove to have his work and success open doors for his descendants. He was a naturally elegant man with surprisingly refined tastes, even with only a simple education from a small rural Polish village. As an aside, he also liked nice, but not flashy cars, and always bought only what he could afford -- but the best that he could afford. Coincidentally, our family in Poland were responsible for the care of the local noble family's horses. So, somewhere I come across a prancing horse heritage and connection honestly.

You are so right. The best part of my Ferrari ownership was when my Dad came to visit me and I tossed him the keys and we went for a ride.

Unfortunately my father passed more than thirty years ago so I never that that opportunity but I’m betting you and your father sure enjoyed that ride.
