I wanted 'C4ZZO' for mine. Alas, 'Z's not available on that style of UK registration.

I know it's not that imaginative but I was shocked to see that I was able to get "97F355" in California of all places? I figured that would have been gone! I don't have It on the front of the car as you can see but I did buy the "metal rod" extension kit (Secured in the Tow Lug receptacle). If I do get pulled over for no "Front Plate" (Required in California), I can use the excuse like I saw others use stating "I just had the car detailed and they forgot to re-install the plate"

Funny you should mention that. A CHP friend of mine pulled a F40 over a few weeks ago and he used that line on him. Guess it worked. My friend just requested that the driver provide him with a little, "Ferrari Music," as he drove away.

Just wondering if personalized plates are available to our brothers who live outside the U.S.? I can't recall ever seeing any.

Some countries in Europe work the same as the US, eg you can have anything you like so long as it's a certain length and available.

The 'personal' plate market is crazy in the UK since we have to use government issued registrations which follow a certain pattern. So those that spell something are worth lots of money.

Long story short, I wanted to get the plate "F BOMB" but BMV said no. I called to ask why. The bureaucrat claimed she didn't want to explain to her children what it meant. Amazed, I requested "44QSAKE". They gave it to me. Image Unavailable, Please Login

I had a moderator get their panties all tied up over me using asterisk in place of letters within swear words... Just saying be carful, I've noticed some people get away with it and others (me) do not.

I like the plate. Plus those 360 wheels kick the car up a notch... Nice!

That is a HOT looking 348. Very nice!

I'm going to have to think of something with only 7 letters if we ever move from NC...it's nice living in a state where you can have 8 characters on a plate.

California is kicking around the idea of adding another character (to 8 total). That would open up a lot of cool possibilities. Currently if you want a palm tree background (so California), you can only put six characters on those.

Apologies in advance for not being on an F-car (yet), but this plate will be transferred to a manual 1995 berlinetta, as soon as I can find a decent one available.

I also have "RAINSUXX" on a Miata - although many don't really seem to get it, even with the top down...
