Pet peeves

It is in Florida at the moment, big fire hazard! Besides, smokers are the worst at littering. Those nicotine sotted filters don't biodegrade. I guess you can tell smokers are my #1 peeve.

 

Starts at $360 for a first offense, ends at $3,400 for multiple. Plus the judge can assign community service.

So true... Every time I see that I want to throw a lit cigarette into their car...

Why do so many smoker's feel it is OK to throw their buts on the ground, whether from a car, or while walking on a sidewalk?

Amen to that! I see that all the time around here.

 

1. I can't stand "over educated" people. By that I mean, the people almost or over 30 years old with more than 3 degrees and have done nothing with them. It is so irritating because they think they are so much better and smarter than everyone. Never mind that they are up to their neck and debt and still can't get a job.

2. Protesters. The ones that can't figure out how to work out a disagreement correctly and they think walking around with signs is somehow going to fix it.

3. When people are way too politically correct, but do it so arrogantly that their real opinions show through anyway.

4. oh ya... and slow drivers

 

People that repeat themselves 3 times in one paragraph. My wife is the QUEEN of it. Drives me NUTS.

I think it's pretty obvious!

 

When I'm sitting down and typing on a keyboard my mind works differently than when I'm out and about during the workday. So right now I can only attest to the most annoying pet peeves I have:

1) Ignorant people: No, I mean really, honestly, truly the most ignorant people piss me off more than anything since The Taliban. I absolutely cannot stand it when you're conversating with someone about a certain topic that you know a lot more about (based on facts)...yet the other person insists how you are wrong (and has NO facts). Moral of the story is, when you dont know FOR SURE what you are talking about...just don't open your mouth. At all.

2) Cell-Phone-In-The-Hand-And-Driving Drivers: Well now that the BlueTooth or whatever technology is being more widely used...I dont see this AS often, but still way to much. When you're driving, it's ok to use one hand on the wheel while your other is rested somewhere. Because then you're focus is still only on one thing...driving. But DON'T have a cell phone in the other hand and talking to someone. Then you're trying to focus on more than one thing...which ends up getting people killed.

I have plenty more...but like I said, I'm sitting down at the moment.

 

People who make up words...








Like conversating.

 

People in SUV's who slow down to 2MPH for speed bumps and puddles
SUV's who tailgate (Brief HARD braking with rapid acceleration usually fixes that)
People who merge from an ending lane by coming over like you're the one merging. Straddling the lanes usually cures it. If not, make sure you're in front, then stop. Dead.

 

I guess you mean people that believe in things that "you" don't think exists.

When i think i see a really nice car but it passes to quickly for me to be sure.

 

I have really been bothered lately by a couple things...

1) People who insist on putting more than one U in Nuclear. This really boils my blood when it's someone who really should know better (they pronounce it Nucular).

2)People who can't figure out what an acceleration/on-ramp lane is for and insist on merging at 20 mph less than the flow of traffic.

I feel better now!!

 

1. People who b**ch about smokers.

P.S.--I smoke a pipe so I don't throw burning butts out my window nor do I smoke anywhere else but at home at night after dinner. But I still hate people who squawk at me about smoking.

2. People who interrupt. Drives me nuts.

3. Getting pulled over for doing 5mph over the speed limit because I'm in a Ferrari.

 

People that say "I could care less." Why don't people get that!? COULDN'T care less. COULDN'T!

 

People who stare.

Damn ricers fixing up neons, cavaliers, any american car...and when their car is crying out loud in that awful exhaust when their barely hitting 20mph.

Anyone smoking around me since i have a severe case of ashtma.

 

My pet peeve are people who are compelled to blow their nose or work up a hocker while sitting at a dinner table or in a restaurant. That's what a bathroom is for.

 

I also have very bad asthma, and that happens to me all the time. I really hate it when people still do it when they know that I have asthma.
