That is kind of a Hemmings publishing house characteristic. It almost feels that these people are part of a kind of a "family affair" rather than a pro publishing organization. I happen to know someone who was with them for a while in the Muscle Car publication - but he kind of got "let go" after injecting a little too much opinion into his work. I don't think this group has any intent of actually paying for someone like Egan, Yates, etc. And they understand high-end sports cars about as well as Trade-A-Plane, if that. I still kind of like their American 1950s Classic work, though.
