I was watching a documentary on Rome and they had "Professor Peter Weller of Syracuse" giving talks about this and that.

I looked it up, and sure as shat he is!

I wonder if the acting career never panned out or if he just loves teaching. Imagine you signed up for this class and cracked a joke about the Prof's name only to see the real guy show up to teach. LOL!

Quite a surprise. Want to read another interesting bio? Try William Smith (Falconetti in Rich Man, Poor Man Conan's father in Conan the Barbarian): http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0810342/bio
    Here's his teaching connection:
"Taught Russian Language Studies at UCLA in the late fifties" But read the entire bio; it's quite interesting (almost to the point of unbelievability).

Quite a few celebs are very intelligent.

Geena Davis, Jodie Foster --> (apparently) Members of Mensa
James Woods --> reportedly has an IQ of 180, (old) SAT scores of 1579, MIT alumnus
Asia Carrera (porn star) --> Mensa member (again, alleged), Rutger's scholarship winner

(Sharon Stone had claimed to be a member of Mensa for a long time, until this claim was publicly disputed by Mensa's National Marketing Director, following which Stone shamefully withdrew her claim).

All of the other actors come off as cerebral in their roles. But IMO, the all time unlikely geek/genius has to be Dolph Lundgren. Yes, the star of such intellectual movies like "Dark Angel" and "Universal Soldier".

James Woods has an IQ of 180 - seems unlikely (to say the least). That would make him the smartest person out of ~50 million people.
