I have a bottle of the above mentioned Armagnac.

Evidently it is worth some money, as some were sold at Christie's

No idea if it is the same, except for the brand and the year. The bottle is in the USA.

My father in law gave it to me, a zillion years ago, and have no use for it, as what I like, is what I drink. I have no idea if it is potable, but if it is good then why not?

It looks pretty cool as far as patina goes, so maybe someone, possibly a collector, will know what should be done with it. Please pm me if curious.

    Thank you.

    Regards, Alberto

As long as the cork is fine it should be perfectly drinkable.

The cork is not very visible as there is wax around the bottle neck, but no leakage.
Some sedimentation, nothing great. Does the age make it better than newer Armagnacs?

    Thank you.

    Alberto
