    Whats the difference between the usual Lotus black and "phantom black". How about the other new colors, which do yall think are the best new ones?

    The original black is a metallic.

    Phantom Black is just good ol' gloss black with a fancy name so they can charge extra for it as a "lifestyle colour"...

    It will be interesting to see how many 06 Elises they can sell now that everyone who wanted an Elise has already bought (and, in many cases, sold) one! :)

    well said.
    I think Phantom Black will be the prettiest color for the Elise.
    I will be following them as well. Odd how many people want a real race car for the street until they actually HAVE one.
