Sold the house, dropped the family at hobby, loaded the 308 on a uhaul trailer, put the dog in the jeep and took a west bound bead on I 10.

So long Houston. My time was short but good. I made a lot of friends and had some good times.

Phoenix is another flat, hot city. But the real benefit is the proximity to sedona and flagstaff and some of the best driving roads in the country. I enjoyed my time in arizona and still keep a house in sedona. Sounds like a good move. Enjoy.

Trading very hot and humid for extraordinary dry heat. Good luck.

112 degrees yesterday in PHX. Personally I hate the desert, any desert.

More than you hate cold, snowy, no-fancy-car-driving winters? Only 102 here today, but I'll take it for the mild winters...T

Thanks guys. I grew up in SoCal and spent plenty of winters in the desert and summers at the co river so I'm comfortable with it. I'll be honest the humidity in Houston was hard for me to get used to. Love the people and you can't live better anywhere in the world!
