According to dinoregister.com, this car has at least 1 prior PHONY eBay listing. I have asked the seller to see it on Thursday, Friday or Saturday, and to arrange a PPI, but that is very unlikely as I suspect it is all BS, just like before. Ryan, Scott, Gary - you guys want to ride over with me and check it out? I'll pay for the gas and buy lunch! Mark
Once again my old ad for 7580 has been fraudulently re-listed. I guess I should be flattered that it is so popular, but I'm not! I still own this Dino and this is NOT my ad. It has now been restored and is undergoing final mechanical detailing. The brake calipers have all just been rebuilt, the steering gone through with freshening as needed and the brake master cylinder is now being rebuilt. It will soon be back on the road. I will post photos of the new Verde Medio paint when I can get the car outside of the shop. I think everyone will like the new look. I have reported the listing to E-Bay, by the way.
Just for the record, I sent a request to inspect the car to the eBay lister, just to smoke him/her out, not to buy the car since I already own a great 246gts and just bought another 246gt over the weekend. I can't afford to be Mr. Speer or OMGJON . . . . Mark
Only put myself in that situation when the market was climbing at great paces.... never have done the same in a normal market... regardless, a PPI will scare any potnetial buyer of a car 20+ years old. There is NO perfect car....regardless of how it is advertised
