Sorry I do not see the harm in asking members of the forum if they would like me to take pictures of their cars... What is the problem? Yes, that is the reason I registered to the forum, if you somehow feel threatened by me I am sorry.

Jason- I checked out your albums, you have some nice pics. I see you have also had a run in or two with the police :D. Thought you might enjoy these pictures.

I am not trying to offend anyone. I am only looking to make someone happy with pictures of their car and possibly get a couple more shots for my portfolio. What do you think of the shots I posted in my other thread?

    Thanks
    Ben

I love the 17-40. Its not quite ultra wide due to the 1.6 crop factor on the 20D, but is certainly wide enough for good car shots. Distortion is there, but hardly. Its a good walk around lens but doesnt have much zoom at all when you need it sometimes. Its not the fastest lens in the bunch either a f4 but that doesnt stop me from using it. I would definatly reccomend it if your looking for a good wide angle lens

    Thanks

Heres the address to the capital-
    210 Capitol Ave
    Hartford, CT
    06106-1535

Im pretty sure thats the address from what i found online. I looked at a map and it shows the address right in the area. So look for the capitol building shouldnt be that hard to find..

    Ben,

I've been watching this thread and I'll add that I like your work also. Esp. the first pict.

I've been thinking about picking up a 20D. Now that I see what it can do... I'm sure my picts will look the same ;)

How is it for Macro shots?

If you make it down to the DC area, I'm sure we can round up some cars.
