Hey guys, I spent a couple hours taking photos at FoD the other day. Everyone there was extremely nice and it was nice to meet Derek and John (I think it was). It was awesome to see someone drive away with their brand new 599 for the first time too. Figured you guys might be interested in seeing the photos though. As I really don't like attaching photos, I will just attach a couple and you can check out the rest at my flickr:

    Hope you like them,

It was in a super awkward spot for photos. It was right up against the window so it wasnt really possible to get photos of the front. Maybe next time Derek will let me bring it to a more picturesque location! ;)

Love the photo of Derek in the 599. He should frame it for his office! :D How does the new showroom look?

You really got some great photos from a place where shooting them is extremely difficult.

The hardest part about shooting them was the lighting situation. The reflections from the big lights overhead killed 50% of my photos :(

The people on the showroom floor at Ferrari of Denver have always been very friendly, and quite tolerant when I asked if I could unobtrusively take some photos. However, none of mine turned out as good as these.

Taking a good shot of an entire car is very difficult, if not impossible. While the layout and lighting are both good for viewing the cars in person (and that's what a dealership is really all about), it's just about impossible to stand back and get a clear shot of an entire single car. The same lighting that's good for viewing the vehicles in person creates a nightmare for a photographer.

These photos are much better than any I've taken at FoD. Kudos to the photographer for working so creatively with difficult lighting and layout.

As much as I love to visit the showroom at FoD, I've pretty much given up on trying to photograph anything there. The Arapahoe Concours and the Italian ("Automezzi") shows in June are much more conducive to photography.

    Hi Cooper,

It was good to meet you last week...your timing was perfect as the 599 was about to leave :) I love your photography work, it would be great if you could photograph our cars for our website ;)

Oh hey whats up man? Didn't know you were on here. Yeah i'm sure it could be. However, my widest lens is 17mm on a crop body so nothing in my current arsenal is wide enough.

Is that the younger girl? She was there and watching Top Gear or 5th Gear. I heard Tiff Nadel's voice and spent a couple minutes trying to find the TV it was playing on. Turns out it was coming from her computer haha
