    Hi guys,

Well ive been a slow poster on Ferrari Chat for years now, all be it not a frequent one! Over the years ive made contact with many Ferrari enthusiasts & owners a like. Mainly in the UK, but as work has taken me abroad i've now made in roads with some Hong Kong Ferrari's!

Anyway, it wasn't until the other day that I actually stopped & took stock of what was in my collection! I must say, its now at its smallest! At one time i had over 100 1:18 diecast, but ive culled it back to my best, and from now on Ferrari's and ford's only are getting added! ( i used to collect any 1:18!) But as you will see, im out of space!

The 1:8 Pocher F40 was built & detailed by me a good 7 years ago now, at the time it was very expensive, i think i paid around £800 from ebay for the kit!

The 1:18 MG Models Toptip F40 LM (004 of 200) is my current pride and joy, i bought it from the F1 shop opposite the Ferrari factory in Marnello in 2006 when we passed through as part of our honeymoon! I also spotted the rare Cavalino F40 LM book in the same shop, so that had to come too!

The 1:18 F40 in Black is original black, it came with a wooder plinth, but thats in a box in the loft.

I try to keep the collection neat, and down to special, or harder to find variants such as the Black 355 by UT, love that model!

    Any, enough from me!

Nice collection – thanks for posting the pics (the Totip LM is really great.)

What’s the story on the ArtSports and Pilot Aldix F40s? The ArtSports one looks like a partial LM transkit on a Bburago (wing, wheels, decals) and the Pilot looks like the Bburago version they sold but with missing stickers?

    Hi Guys!

Sorry ive not been back on to you all! Thanks for the comments!

Sadly, got real hastle with getting on the web this week! And not much time tonight either! I will take some more pics of the F40s at weekend!

Ive got around 20 more ferraris up in my back room, mostly buragos but also a few rare Ansons, Dino & 328. And 2 x Giodi (think thats right) Both Ferrari Daytonas which are nice..

Ive been collecting for 15 years now! Some cars i bought when they came out, like the yellow UT 355 GTS! I only paid £25 which was the correct price at the time... cant believe they now clear £100 on ebay.... same with a few of my cars!

As for the Art Sport F40, its my own transkit, i had a Lotus Elise GT1 model... which i pinched nearly everything off to build it. The F40 itself is one of the Burago self build kits.. so it was easier to decal!

Anyway... sorry, really must fly! Ill be back on soon! (sods law! 1st post the access troubles!)

    Mike
