Russ, why do I think that your Camel doesn't have the range for you to shoot this picture. Long range tanks?

Tom, I've been quite airborne for sure, good thing I love planes. Not to many flights for the next couple of weeks now that I landed in Ohio for two weeks. Hope all is well with you Tom!
I really like this picture exiting laguardia today. Nice sunset and the bird has called it a night in Dayton Ohio. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Heading back to Texas yesterday after a weekend of mountain biking in Colorado. That's probably Pikes Peak in the background (I was focused on driving - copilot was snapping pictures). The view out the left side wasn't so pretty - large area of thunderstorms I was navigating around. Not sure the second picture counts, as we were 'airborne' but not in an airplane. Yep. Colorado Freeride Festival was last weekend. I saw several Acura NSXs on the drive back to Centennial Airport on Sunday morning (all headed west on C470), so there must have been a gathering somewhere in town earlier. Didn't see any F-cars, however.
Not exactly in the last 24 hours, but some images from my weekend trip. After flying a 767 to Portland (a now-rare opportunity to fly in an airplane I helped design) on Thursday afternoon, I took this Embraer 175 to Seattle. PDX was absolutely in the clear, but the clouds built as we flew to SEA and would persist the whole weekend. The flight was all of 26 minutes in the air, and I wondered if we would actually level out. We did, at 18,000 feet, a little higher than Mt. Rainier, for all of three minutes! On Sunday, with nothing left to do, I dropped my car off at SEA real early, for a flight that would not leave until 12:50 AM. So among other things, I was able to sit at Sea-Tac's enormous windows and watch the evening activity. American's new livery is not bad, but they should have put stars on the tail's blue field instead of stripes; the current tail design reminds me more of the Russian flag than the American one! I do like Southwest's new livery. Even the Delta 767-400 is a version not commonly seen even here. (I only recall flying one once.) That looks like a busy schedule, any occasion? (Nice to see a pitstop in Toronto as well) Those seats aren't like the ones I fly on .
The occasion was that it's my job! I fly a Citation XLS for a charter company out if Charlotte, NC. We picked up some PGA golfers in Toronto... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
