Frankfurt to where? I've flown Lufthansa A380 three times and found each time to be fantastic. Flew on the 747-8i earlier this year and it pales dramatically to the A380. Airbus all the way.

Just looking at the HUD so I could needle you a little. Neat display of your flight path! Not very familiar with all this new stuff. I used to watch for houses or alligator ponds that I recognized.
Oh yeah I wouldn't go off the HUD in this example.. I've been experimenting with a new camera that captures combined data and video.. the displays are GPS based so not very good for some parameters as the HUD shows. The device is capable of hooking into "real" sensors in Garmin panels however and that should be realistic. I've been trying a few different high tech tools such as this and the 3D stuff for self-debrief post flight.. but rest assured the flying is right back to the basics.. paper map and compass and confirm track by identifying features as you go... that's it!
