Well that's a good question! I did a bit of research and sadly, this is not where the Ark is - that's on mount Ararat (apparently) which is further east. I actually have no idea what this place is, but it is just a short distance north of Tatvan in Turkey and can be seen in satellite view on google maps. It looks like the remains of a massive volcanic eruption, or a meteor impact crater. Close by there looks to be a separate volcano. It looked absolutely amazing from FL39.

So a lady gave birth on a Southwest flight going from Philly to Orlando and diverted to Charleston. I was on the flight departing Orlando to Bham so we were delayed 2 hours. They put us and the inbound crew on a new plane due to the uncleanliness of the original plane we were to use. I would have posted pics if I could...;)

Apple products tend to do that. There is a cure, but since I have no Apple products, have not researched.

Used to know a lot of those folks. Not surprised, I am sure they blame it on operator error.

About 12% of the YYZ traffic for 80% of the pay, plus a nice view and relatively low cost of living. I don't think there's more than a couple of controllers there with less than 35 years' experience.
