Hey all, I haven't been on Ferrari Chat in some time but my name is Jeff Basladynski, aka JBaz, and I'm a current student with Randolph Community College pursuing my Commercial Photographic degree. I'm a friend of Adam Golden and Eric Canonge and have had the pleasure of going to one or two of the meets a year or two ago. I also shot some of the Ferrari Club and Ducati track day events as well as a few of the group meets in the past; as well as having covered a decent number of motorsports events throughout the country in the past three years. Anyhow, we recently were tasked with a large ad campaign for our final project at our school where we work with a graphic designer, and we came up with some great artwork and concepts of using a late model exotic car, ideally a Lamborghini since our campaign idea and theme was centered around it, but a Ferrari would work too. We would shoot some close up, detail shots for our artistic and creative take of the car as well as some environmental, urban shots to give a devilish, pleasurable appeal of the car. The whole prospect of this large project is to work with a designer to create marketing materials that could be used in the real world that we could be proud of, have a lot of fun, and be something of our portfolio quality pieces to show our quality of work in both design and photography to prospective clients for years to come. I was wondering if there were any car owners in the Raleigh or surrounding areas would be interested in our project. As students we can't rent such a prized car for a personal project, but what we do offer is professional images for your time. We are looking to do the photography side of the project by Feb 4th. Let me know as soon as possible as our project depends on having a car. I also plan on attending the February greet and meet for fun as well. 919.454.5111 [email protected]
I can vouch for Jeff's work, I have two digital photes of my yellow 355 spider he took at a Brier Creek meet, good stuff! Unfortunately my car is up at Apex Vintage finishing up some interior work (seats re-done and interior sticky parts getting un-stickied) so at this point I cannot offer it up.
i plan on being at the meet on sat but i cant make it up on a weekday (2/4), but would love for you to take pix of the 430 then
Jeff, Is there anything that you could do at the Ferrari dealership...??? I work for Foreign Cars Italia in Greensboro and we have a black Enzo, an F40 and an F50 in the showroom and I didn't know if it would work to do some photos there or not...??? You can email me or call me if that might help with your project... [email protected] 336-516-3855 cell Hank Carpenter
Hey all, I want to thank those who helped with my current photoshoot project for school. I want to especially thank Steve Jones at Carolina Lamborghini for helping us out tremendously and really being a trooper. Heres some pics on my website here of what we did and behind the scenes. http://jbaz.net/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=111&Itemid=1 Jeff
