To post photos on this forum you have to be a paid subscriber, which costs $20 according to Aircon. Posting photos is contributing to the forum, which you have to be pay for. Meanwhile, trolling costs nothing. Ridiculous, right?
That's funny. Having read your posts over the years, you strike me as a fairly intelligent person. So as an intelligent person, do you think that with approximately 220 posts over 4 years that I'm going to come under the category of a troll? Or are you trying to bait me?
How can I check this? And Greg, does posting a normal post take up space, if So, do those people pay subscription fees?
I believe everyone should pay. It's a nominal amount and would reduce the number of trolls like SilentG
I'll go along with that,it's not as though it's a break the bank amount, and particularly the above comment.
You pay to use the net (ISP). You pay to use any popular website (google gets 2 cents every time you google) via ads and you pay to use services within certain popular sites that don't appear to have ads. Rob Lay isn't doing anything different. Lots of forums make you pay for features even the troll sites. The only issue I have is the quality of the pics is downgraded to 800x600 and he should bring the site into the 21st century by having the option of clicking a thumbnail and getting the hi-res version.
Under User CP there is an attachment link. I believe you get 6mb free space. When you pay you can upload unlimited amounts of pics (till the sub runs out). Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
In this case subscribers who contribute material and advertisers. On other forums, generally advertisers. If people contribute photos and brings in traffic as a result, the forum owner gets the benefit from increased advertising revenue. So tell me why should contributors pay for bringing in more traffic?
Why not? I have no problem with the owner of the site making a buck and the site remaining viable. I am a firm believer in you play, you pay
Back to the cars......as a Lexus enthusiast, I relish any opportunity to see photo's of the LFA. Looks like we won't get to see more pics of this shoot since the op isn't a paying customer. I can't complain since I'm not either.
