    Just heard about this today, It is a browser-based version of PS. From what I have seen from playing with it, it is a lot like Elements. A very good free alternative to PS and from those who are on the go from time to time. It is still in beta but very stable.

    I played with it a bit yesterday. Kinda cool

    Be aware, in the user agreement, Adobe claims "a worldwide, royalty-free, nonexclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable license to use, distribute, derive revenue or other remuneration from, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, publicly perform and publicly display such Content (in whole or in part) and to incorporate such Content into other Materials or works in any format or medium now known or later developed."

    companies like adobe dont really care if people have burnt versions of photoshop, its just when you use it to make money, then they will crack down hard.
    same with lots of graphic software, because no one is going to just spend hundreds of $$ on a program they havent used before, and in 3d programs, thousands!

    i remember a while ago, there was a competition to make a short video (30sec-1min) for a competition in 3d animation. the guy who ended up winning had used an illegal copy of 3dstudiomax. they found out when they went to give him his prize (latest edition of 3dsm) via download, the looked up his name and he wasnt registered.... they sprung him and he ended up getting fined big money.
