Just kind of went through this.

The house we bought 2 years ago came with an old upright Netzow fromt he 30's. Last summer, I finally got it out of hte basmenet and then it sat in the garage for another 6 months. Tried classifieds, postings, going through a broker...nada.

The biggest place in town that even deals with some used stuff said it was pretty much worthless.

    Solution...

I've got a freind who runs a charity youth organization, and we donated it to him and will be getting an estimate we can use as a tax deduction. That is pretty much the best we could hope for from the whole deal.

Good luck, unless they are well and truly worth something, they are a ***** to get rid of. In the twin cities you may have more options than we did up here in Duluth though.
