Always have to be vigilant. This is a pic I snapped last year after backing out and "surprise" I glanced up in the mirror at the last second and my sons car was there. I stopped inches away. All it takes is not paying attention once. Luckily nothing happened. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Big fan of your car. For some reason I can’t distinguish but are your wheel set ups 20/21s or 20s all around?
Erik, what is the actual colour (underneath the tape) of your car? the interior is interesting. Interesting exterior colour too. enjoy with good health
Thanks. I obviously wanted something different. Favorite color is blue and I wanted bright. I also enjoy going to Mexico. Exterior color: Argento Nurburgring Metallic Interior color: Bordeaux Red

Really very cool. I’ve put the 21/20s on mine and they look great. I’m thinking a “aluminum” finish set of 21/22s as an alternate look also. love the 458-488-F8 series
Can you provide some detail about swapping out the seats? I have Daytonas and have always wanted racing seats. Where did you get the seats and how hard was the swap. I have read about the difficulties of a swap if the car was not spec’s with racing seats originally. Thanks!
I bought the car in early February and had the electrics in my 430, which is slightly roomier. I know the guys at Tactical fleet and they always said I would need race seats in a 458. I bought this car because it had lift, pit speed and carbon wheel, my must haves with matching color specs to my 355. And it had under 10k miles and even better at less than 7k which also matches my 355. I got concerned about the seats and fitting at 6’4” with a good portion in my torso. So I looked high and low for race seats - nothing that really matched or that I wanted to buy from overseas. Considered buying new - just under $30k, but seriously considered it. I changed my search parameters and stumbled on Squires ad on Rennlist where I am also a member. They were exact match and spec from his 2011 or 2012 Spider. And the price was reasonable. I pinged, replied and messaged with no response. Then someone messaged me and said he was not on Rennlist much and to email him, he gave me an email….SCAMMER! Almost went down that path, but asked for pictures and FaceTime they could not provide, but acted like they were Squires. I pinged again on Rennlist and I also found him on Insta. We connected. Awesome dude! Great cars too! My car came from Marshall Goldman BH and was being sent to NB for shipping. Squires was an hour and a half away. I paid him to deliver seats to MG and they got delivery driver to send with car. Gave driver some cash as well. Car was direct shipped to one of the best Ferrari Dealerships in USA, especially for older car service - Boardwalk Ferrari in Plano. Steve (Safe4now) and his guys (Chris and Colin) are phenomenal. Great FCA deals as well. I wanted the warranty and they offered to get seats installed and work out the bugs. I knew everything one could know from the interwebz and guys on here about doing it. It is easier on the 2010/11 cars. My freaking steering wheel still works! Colin pulled the entire harness from the Electric right seat and CPOD and we carefully put it under the right race seat. It works because US spec seats and car. Someone on here tried German seats in US and had issues. So far so good for me. All is great! Every car is different and has different issues, I wish this luck would translate to the Lottery numbers! But message me for my number and I can talk about it more. Cheers!
