owner is Bill Cosby. Not sure if its 100% truth or just the rumor I heard from a few different people about the car.

Screw you John <looks around for his groupie> Whew, hasn't been following me around since he sold his car.
Hi guys, Well here's another Marrone in NJ, its mine, ha ha .... its a cool color I think, not too common I suppose .... the less sun it gets -the more dark gray or even greay/ purpleish it looks. I have a wooden Momo wheel on it and it complements the look I think. I do wonder how many 308 cars were painted in that color. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Carreaper's 308GTS looks nice in the picture. Was the interior dark brown or burgandy? Interesting combination with Met. Marrone...usually I've only seen that color paired with tan interior. Best regards, Dino
The interior was dark brown as well, to match the rest of the car. It was the perfect color combo for the car. Having a Red/Tan car now, which I love, I realize how f'n cool the marrone-on-marrone car was--especially the interior. It really shined deeply at night, responded well to wax. The car really needs the 16" wheels to keep the color in some semi-modern balance. The Marrone Metalizzato / Marrone interior is extremely rare on the 308s. I was told by the PO of my marrone car (also one of thecarreaper's former cars) was one of two in the combo. The very dark brown interior (seats, mats) offset by the black armrests, dash, and fascia really was nice. It was definitely "stick around brown" though - it had been at the dealer (Ferrari of CF) for quite some time (a year I think) until I bought it.
Hi Mike, Thanks for the info on your former car. I have seen Metalizzato Marrone with tan, but never with "Marrone" interior. From the picture I saw its a really beautiful combination. But yes, I can see it might not have been an easy sell for a dealer. I showed a picture to a co-worker who scowled and said, "Brown Ferrari, no thanks." Still I think its so understated and attractive, and although I love my red/crema 328, the Marrone car is a nice change from the usual sea of red at most F car events. Best regards, Dino
