Very nice indeed!! Congratulations!! How did it feel driving it home the first time? BTW...gorgeous countryside. I always loved the greenery of the Britsh Isles.
Again, great car. I "picked" mine up today too (as my wire for the $$$ went through today). I had a blast driving it VERY fast and enjoying the appreciative looks. I LOVE MY "NEW" 550. Nice to share the great experience with you from the other side of the Atlantic. Congrats again!
Hello!! I am also a fellow NSX owner. Glad to see that your 550 will be in good company. I have been a huge fan of the 550 Maranello ever since I first saw one. Beautiful car, my friend. Congrats!!
Congrats on the choice and welcome to the club! Make sure that you get a Tubi on that 550 asap, if it doesn't already have it. It is a real keeper.
Had a great drive home - a fair bit of head turning as I came up behind cars. Definitely a real sense of occasion. As for the scenery the first 3 pictures were taken on the A46 Bath Stroud road in Gloucestershire.
Completely different. 550 is a "muscle" car by comparison - your granny could drive the NSX. 550 must be about 350kg heavier than the NSX but the extra power and torque plus some terrific handling for such a big car make up for it and a bit more. In the real world the NSX will be just as fast A to B. We bought the 550 because we wanted a true GT car as we tend to go to a European GP each year and the NSX can only just hold enough luggage for two people for a week. The 550 will hold more than enough and still have room for a couple of cases of wine on the way back. First trip will be to the San Marino GP on April 24th. I can't wait to drive into Imola behind the wheel of the 550!
beautiful color...congratulations I replaced the exhaust which was factory on mine with tubis. Tubis sound good when car is idling and you have the windows down...don't expect the growl of a daytona with tubis...if I had to do it all over gain, I would have kept the factory exhaust ( i did keep the original exhaust and one day may reinstall)
Welshman and Cielo - welcome to F-chat. Congrats on your 550s - both awesome. I have had mine for 18 months and it is still as fun to drive as the day I picked it up. FYI, now there are 2 Welshmen with Red 550s on this forum.
I changed mine to Fuchs / CarGraphics - kept the original for about a week. I would never go back to stock.
