I love this car. Going from my 2002 360 6-speed, this car is very different. The braking is unreal. The handling to match, and the interior is killer. I will take some better shots soon. I already installed my Capristo with test pipes yesterday. When I opened up the air boxes I couldn't believe Ferrari would put paper filters in there. So I replaced them with two BMC race filters.

Nice color choice! I personally like the minimalist interior with all that carbon fiber. Not to mention the sound the stradale makes is phenominal.
    Enjoy!

The interior has no sound deading material at all. You hear every little rock on the road passing under the car. The premium sound, if you can call it "premium", sucks, but who really needs a stereo in this car.

How is the road-going noise level so far? Obviously you have not been to redline yet... but based on Thomas and Wazza's thread, I am curious.

I was refering to the exhaust note. I stereo would probably be the mopst unused thing in a ferrari if it was mine.

I have been to redline many times already. I put 500 miles on the car in four days. It's pretty loud inside the car, but not to bad.

Capristo, huh? I would have thought the factory Stradale exhaust would have any aftermarket system covered, in terms of sound and weight. Can you go with test pipes with the factory exhaust?

surprised about the Capristo - didn't Ferrari put a sport exhaust in already, different from the stock 360 Modena?

The factory exhaust sounds o.k., but not loud enough for me. The Capristo sounds insane on the car.

Excellent! I'd love to see your Capristo setup. Will you go with custom ECUs for more power if they become available?

Wow. I have seen other posts referencing how loud the factory system is. Different strokes.

AFAIK, the Capristo is *less* loud than the Stradale exhaust.

Now, straight pipes + Capristo is probably louder than cats + Stradale. But why not just use the test pipes and keep the awesome sounding Stradale exhaust? Would that be too loud?

The stock exhaust has a bypass built in to it. If you wire it totally open, it sounds just like a challenge car, which the tonality is quite poor. The tonality of the Capristo is much better. When the bypass is open, air does not travel through the muffler at all. It goes straight from the exhaust manifold out to the cats then out of only one of the tailpipes on each side.

Congats on the new car...its beautiful :)

What do you think about the F1 and its operation in the Stradale? Do you still prefer the 6 speed?

The filters that you are replacing are they any different then the ones that fit the standard 360's air boxes?

Its difficult to tell which red you ordered from your photo, is it Corso?
