Just wanted to post some pics from McGuire's 2008 Air Show. A storm was heading our way, so all the planes were towed/taxi'd over to our 3 bay hangar. I took these pics with a Cell Phone camera so they aren't the best pics, but I think they're pretty cool. We had to push the Memphis Bell about 200ft. That's a heavy som' biotch!

    Enjoy,

    Jim

Damnit, the mempshi bell pic wouldn't upload. I might be able to get another as they are saved on CD.

Cool pics. I didn't read the summary at first and was wondering what the heck kind of museum would have a whole fleet of Thunderbirds in a display like that, LOL!

Cool pictures Sheppard AFB, tech school, has Thunderbirds but I never got to see them fly.

I just got to Minot AFB as my first duty station and were not allowed any electronics out on the flight line. Believe it or not but I was told that we only use the hangers when we have to use the cranes... so in the winter when it drops to 40 below with wind chill, we are still out there working in the elements.

WW-I equivalent. From my original 8x10 photograph. 20-30 different types of US and German WW-I biplanes. A US pilot was killed the next day flying the Fokker D.VII on the right.
