    Last wekend we had two events in Finland that included Ferraris. And boy was I living the time of my life, believe me there is a place called heaven on earth. Thank you for everyone that made it possible !

    Some of the pics are from the Scandinavian Ferrari challenge race at Alastaro, Finland, some of the pics are from Classic Sportscar Concours d'Elegance in Turku, Finland and the rest from our trip to and from the events. And YES I got to drive the 250 GT cabriolet PF series B ! Maybe you start understanding what I mean with living the time of my life last wekend !

    There were really a nice turnout of Ferraris, considering that we don't have that many of them here in Finland (around 100?)

    Thank you everyone for the kind words ! It is a pleasure to share such nice experiences with other enthusiast alike !

    Heres a couple more pictures of the 512 tr with speciale wheels (what are speciale wheels ? Are the brakes original or ? ) and some more of the 250 PF. I also attached a couple of pictures of all the three cars that we drove to the concours event (The 250 PF, Dual-Ghia Convertible, Jaguar XK 140)

    Love that TR ! Those wheels were first offered on a limited edition called 512 TR speciale for the japanese market if i remember correctly . It was rosso barchetta ,with those wheels and the shields . I guess , it later became an option , part of the scaglietti program .

    My very first post on F-chat, jiihaa! I was at the Sports Cars Concours too. I counted 13 Ferraris and many other exotics as well (Astons etc.). Here are just a few images of the Ferraris. As I was heading home something very interesting caught my attention in the rearview mirror. That's the 575 SuperAmerica that soon passed me. Then I stayed behind it for about an hour (we did not speed). Enjoy!

    TERVE !! (Hello in Finnish) Nice to meet some other people from finland on this board !

    At least at idle and at parkinglot speeds the sounds of that 575 SA was awesome, how did it sound on the highway ?

    AK3, yes the Österengs FXX is great, unfortunately is showed the Italian temperament so there wasn't alot of driving with it. Apparantly since it was parked in the sun allday, the temp rised so high in the car that it went into limp mode, or pitlane speed mode as it is apparently called on the FXX. It could do max 70km/h later in the afternoon.

    Wolfgang, there are not many Ferraris in Finland but compared to other exotic brands Ferrari is a clear market leader (not counting Porsche with its cheaper models in to this) But that is only because Ferrari/Maserati is and has been the only one to have an official importer and service in Finland. All the others, Lamborghini, Bentley, Aston-Martin etc needs either to be served abroad or to have a mechanic flown in.

    Well, I'm off for a 2 weeks boat trip to Sweden (Stockholm/Sandhamn) Happy Midsummer for everyone !

    Terve Nicke! Yes, not too many from Finland (or Sweden) on this board. I hope more people from Finland would post here.

    The 575 made a nice rumble on uphills.

    I'll add two more images from the Concours. Although not a Ferrari, it's a car that I like so much. The engine was running at idle when I took these. What a nice deep rumble from that V12.

    Also, notice the cool licence plate! Enjoy!

    Yes A-M has a very nice sound, that weekend I also got to drive a DB9, for a moment I was almost converted away from being a 'tifosi'. Very nice cars indeed, so subtle, yet orgasmic !
