thanks, and anyone who owns one, please give a review! We drove on over the summer, and it was fantastic. Decisions, decisions.... Thanks again -Joe
Well, dont got one but am definetley a fan! Heres a download video of Jeremy Clarkson driving one from Englad to the south of France while racing a train. Joe, A good friend of my dad's is on his second one now. Got rid of the first for a stick car he got about 2 months ago. I only road in the car once, but I was very impressed. The one complaint I had was that it is to refined for me, it is not nearly as raw as say a 355 for comparison. It is however a perfect daily driver for this guy and he puts about 12k on a year. You might have seen his around town black/black interior he lives in glen mills. Erik
I haven't seen that one... I've seen a light silver-blue, and dark blue. We drove one over the summer, and although it was mroe refined than the 355, it was still a great alternative to the porsche... front engine freight train (the british 550 I suppose) compared to the agile rear engined porsche; but It still handled well! I think we'll end up with something after the winter . Thanks Erik -Joe The list 996 turbo (preferably X50) DB9 360 spider (contigent upon price drop) Or the inevitable impulse buy...
id deffenalty get a DB9 over a Vanquish or AMV8, the styling is just so much better imo, just so sexy...
i saw a db9 for the first time the other day, it was like a light silver blue color, it is by far the hottest most sexy car ever made. i seen alot of nice cars but nothing can campare to a db9 i still cant find the right words to describe it. it is the first car to leave me speechless.
Here are some photos I took on Sunday. This car is absolutely stunning. Great post and pictures. Quick question (from my diecast collecting). The DB9, Vanquish, Volante and Vantage; what are the appearance differences in the body? I can see that the Vantage is a smaller car than the Vanquish, but where do the DB9 and Volante fit in? Are they the same basic body as one of the others? Thanks.
The DB9 is ment to be a more relaxed car to drive, and the Vanquish and AMV8 are the sportier cars. The V8 isn't as fast as a 360 (or 430) at a track enviroment, but I'm hoping mine will be easier to live with as I'm planning on using it a lot. There is romurs of a V8S in a couple of years - dropping ~170kgs and upping the power ~60bhp which should be quite fun.
Yes, I heard it might be a supercharged version? Simalar to the "R" line jaguars... (coinsidence any? ) -Joe
