Don't know if this will help, but I have pics of the car getting a new exhaust, 'sans' bumper: Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks guys - I am actually looking for a pic of the inside of the bumper itself. We're a bit unsure of whether or not different construction methods were used in different years. We have a 355 rear bumper and a front bumper that are made differently, and I'm just trying to learn what is what. THe more pics the better - I tried searching but couldn't find anything.
Chris / Brian.....the inside of a 97 F355 B bumper, if you need any more pics or measurements just ask Image Unavailable, Please Login
Can anyone shoot me some ULTRA HIGH QUALITY of the following area? specifically the solenoid valves and black coffee can thing, also a good HQ shoot looking up at the black coffee can thing and the piping that runs thru that area. See attached pic for reference. THANKS!! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Andrew, is that hand-laid chopped strand fiberglass? Can you see the little fiberglass hairs matted down on the surface?
No the insides pretty smoth, almost like a moulded plastic (even has little symbols in it) where as the 348's did have a rough chopped strand finish Would you like a few more closer up pics?

I think there is a difference between '95 & maybe '96 and later 355 rear bumpers. I think the earlier cars had no vent holes in the horizontal black portion under the license plate area, while the later cars have 8 oval shaped vent holes in this area. Is this right? I assume the holes are for cooling...?
Please more closeups - I have a hand-laid bumper that I assume is either an early no-vent bumper or an aftermarket piece. The brackets look factory - like you see on the 348, but there are no markings on the inside anywhere. The smooth inside finish of your bumper is consistent with the 355 front bumper we have.
95 is hand lade fiberglass, if you are looking to do carbon fiber bumpers we have them and the molds. Contact us for more details.
Chris/Brian, I have a Euro rear bumper on my 355C and it is hand laid fiberglass/kevlar? anyway not smooth as described above (appears they must have done 2 different styles) orange gel coat and very light weight. If you need anything else let me know. Regards, Vern
