i'm sorry to hear that brian's stradale has been delayed once again. i hope it is perfect when it finally arrives. although frustrating beyond belief i am certain that nobody at ferrari is intentionally causing delays for brian. hang in there brian. it will be worth it!

here's a few pics on my new stradale. i've only had a chance to put about 50 miles on it since it arrived last night, but i can tell already that it is a very special car! i am very happy :)

Oh My God that's beautiful! My brain is already telling me "don't walk, run back to the dealer and trade in my regular Modena for this"!

Congratulations, you are going to have an awesome year.

    Bellissima! I love the interior.

Since you were so worried about the sound, are you happy or disappointed with the exhaust?

i love red also, but i don't see yellow as often so it's fun to have a yellow stradale :) btw, they call the color "giallo modena".

The yellow/black seats came out real nice... a splash of yellow that ties with the exterior. Your diligence paid off there!

Funny that they did the horse in red... seems like, unless you specified it red, that they'd have done it yellow... but the red works... there's several other splashes of red in the interior down low... so the splash up high looks balanced and puts extra emphasis on them.

That car will definitely be a standout at any events... a super popular Ferrari color that is amazingly rare on the Stradale.

Congrats. (he says cheerfully, trying to keep his jealousy concealed ;) )

Awesome! Love the interior. An area where the Ferrari clearly excells over the Gallardo.

A big congrats on the car... even hearing it through the phone was very exciting!! It was a long time to wait... but 3months pretty much equates to nothing the moment you get behind the wheels of the CS!! :)

Can't wait to see, hear, and feel it in person!

    Another Bada-bing night, perhaps? LOL

thanks :) i have to baby it to some degree for about 500-600 miles. i've put about 50 miles on it today. i played around with race mode and there definitely is a noticeable difference in exhaust behavior (gets louder at lower RPMs). but the biggest thing i noticed is how aggressive the F1 shifts while in race mode. it's addictive. i can already tell you that i'm sure to leave it in race mode most of the time :) the shifts are very aggressive and much quicker than the 360 modena (and i loved my 2002 360 F1 modena). even if you prefer manual shifting the way the stradale F1 gearbox shifts in race mode will make you so happy that you won't be able to wipe the smile off your face. i'm still smiling :)

i can also tell you that this car is definitely quicker, tighter, crisper, more responsive, more aggressive and more planted to the road than a 360 modena (and remember that i loved my 360 modenas). yet it is very driveable. glued to the road. you feel everything you should feel and it feels great. i haven't driven yet on bad roads but the car feels fantastic on typical streets and highways.

the car is also louder than a stock 360 modena (as we all know). but not inappropriately loud if you know what i mean. to me it's a perfect note for the car. even if it's not as loud as the euro stradale it's still a blast.
