My skills at trying to find posts is hopeless.

I was trying to find the one where scud was here in melb recently and both he and pp was trying to catch up???. Obviously in real life they are ok. They are just keeping us entertained.

    yes.

first time he was well behaved (but a smart arse) during the dinner, so i gave him the benefit of the doubt. then when he got home he started posting the crap again.

second time he was a complete fool, quite frankly. his family would have been proud of him THAT night...that's for sure.

You seem to keep mentioning you love the look of them ect....ect..... :):)

I am sure you would LOVE it. Many 599 owners say, "it is the BEST Ferrari ever made" from their ownership experience. :):)

A few guys even own two of them. ;);)

I think the trouble is that you can buy an LP640 for the same money and that car is a traffic stopper as well as a great drive. I think I'd rather have a Scuderia than a 599 - as a driving experience, I like the mid engine thing more. The 599 doesn't quite have the looks of a Lambo and appears too big and bulky to handle say Tassie like a F430 or a Gallardo. It seems more like an intercontinental express - which makes it less useful in Australia. Dunno - the dealer offered me a drive in a 599 and I knocked it back. I probably should have satisfied my curiousity.

I'd really like a Scuderia but my order is a year away. Not sure what to do, so I'll do nothing for now.

There is a 2nd hand fire truck available at Zagames for $619k asking price. Didn't seem to have many options that I could see.

Spent about an hour there yesterday (annoyed since I left myprepaid ticket at home and therefore had to cough up again) - mostly boring as bat****... Funniest bit was cramming about 10 Fiat club members into the new Ritmo for a pic. Ritmo seems to compare very favourably with Alfa 147 re design, detailing and build quality, don't know about performance though.

Fcars and Masers all behind glass and you can get up close at the dealers any day so not much point.

I'm very taken with the looks of the Audi R8 - wonder what it sounds like? The S5 also looks pretty good but at $130k I could think of lots of better options.

Also interesting was a Citroen which has removable side roof rails so it can be configured as open, closed, or semi-closed with a full length opening roof.
