I wish that I have a full entry list for this event but I don't, only picked up snippets of info on this rally somewhere. If madame Dantinne drove the Dino 308 GT4, the chassis number is probably 15506.
As Dutchman I did a quick scan on entries from the Netherlands and found only one (Ferrari Club Nederland did not exist yet in 1976). Entry #28 Piters (already marked in the scans) is a typo, this has to be Pieters who owned 250 Europa GT chassis 0381 GT (which he sold to Dries Jetten one year later).
Here Maurice driving ,any idea of the chassis number ? Copyright unknow (must be a photograph from the event if somebody have his name ) collection Dantinne Image Unavailable, Please Login
No its not , 15506 is his second 308 GT4 from 1980 . He also had two 246 GT 's even he always told me he had 3 . (01276, ??, 05454)
Did Dantinne used or even was there with his Daytona gr4 because he doesn't have any pictures of this car at this event ?
Is entry #26 Jacques Swaters? It’s interesting that he’d be in a Dino 308 considering the cars he had to choose from.
Jacques Swaters was primarily a salesman, back in 1976 clients were not necessarily after the unloved Dino 308 GT4's. Also, don't forget the worldwide oil crisis and poor economy which changed the world dramatically. Marcel Massini
First of all, happy 2024 to everyone. Is it possible that the 365 GTC at #108 of the list is chassis number 12041? Would it be possible to know which chassis number can be associated with the 365 GTCs indicated at numbers #86 and #88? The letter S, in the Nations column, should indicate Suède (Sweden). Correct? Thank you very much.
C. L. Meyer of Vastra Frolunda, Sweden, acquired 12041 on 25 October 1985 only. Not the #108 entry. Meier was from Geneva, Switzerland (CH). Different vehicle. Marcel Massini
