Yes, chassis 12653, found in Japan in a really bad state and sold at RM’s Maranello auction in 2017 for 1.807.000€, I’m glad it’s finally into restoration!
I found 12653 in a half-open shed in the Aichi prefecture in Japan April 2016 and then inspected it again 27 June 2017 in Saitama, Japan. It had been with the same owner from March 1980 until 2017. Yes, we later sold it unrestored in September 2017 in Fiorano to Giacomo Mattioli and it was afterwards re-sold to a Scandinavian. Marcel Massini Image Unavailable, Please Login
wonderful picture ! If I remember correctly the car was sold new to the owner (and close friend of Enzo, hence the special aluminium body) of Quattroruote
