    I visited in April 1982 at 17, took a train for several hours from London to Loughborough, walked a mile uphill to the workshop and after obtaining admission spent an afternoon in paradise taking photos (slides actually, still have them somewhere) of dozens of cars.

    Where I bought it for a client.
    Then sent it to DK to do a total restoration back to 51 LM configuration.
    Former owner Bart Rosman, who owned it since 1976 until his passing never completed the restoration. The next owner invited me to inspect the project in NL in December 2022.

    I remember dining outside one summer at Gatto Verde, great view, so so food, the site of numerous Ferrari launches such as 512S.

    They closed for very murky reasons.
