When my pal Ken Starbird owned 0812, he gave me a ride, and to demonstrate the brakes he came roaring up to a stop sign and slammed on the binders at the last instant. I damn near flew out of the car! Yes, I was suitably impressed!
The sons of Paul Schouwenburg the notorious Dutch collector, vintage racer and neurosurgeon whose autobiography I edited (Ferrari fever, Eau rouge publishing 2014) incredible event packed life story, very intense chap. He immersed them in vintage racing and restorations from the cradle so yes they are very good.
