Was that at Cars and coffee at Blackhawk? Thought I saw those cars together, wanted to get my 348 next to them but the Porsche... Ended up in the back lot..
I took my 348 apart a few weeks ago and too many things (events) got in the way. So, putting it back together today. Checked the ring-nut staking last night and it looks great as is. I'm pretty sure that the inspection cover had never been removed until yesterday. . Image Unavailable, Please Login
Beautiful. Thanks for posting! First shot I remember seeing but I know it's a **very** original/low mileage example. That car should have its own web site which could also serve as a reference for anyone wanting to restore their own 348. Do you ever show it?
Wow! Thanks for the comments. No I haven't showed her in awhile, but I'd like to take it to a national show some day. I miss the the South Fork show that ended in 1997.
Yes, Ron, the South Fork event was probably the most fun show I've ever attended. Good mix of cars, usually moderate temps, and a fairly laid back atmosphere. I miss them as well. I keep hoping someone will resurrect it. If you ever do show the car locally I hope you'll make mention of it here. I'm in the area and would love to see what is bound to be one of the most original, pristine 348s extant. In the meantime, I'd love to see more pics of you have them.
