Yes. The last mechanics to do the major didn't put in a rubber gasket that protects the wiring harness where it goes through the firewall. The harness rubbed until one of the fuel injectors grounded out so that it was spraying fuel all the time. Once that was fixed, it's been fine. I am hoping the mechanic who did the timing belt was a different, better mechanic than the fellow who put the engine back in the car. So far nothing has catastrophically blown up, but there's always a little background fear...
