Anyone delt with stains on the plenums before? Previous owner gifted me with this I am going to try some 303 areospace because its about the only thing I heard might Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The 303 made it look ok but that's not going to work. I know these are plastic, if anyone has messed with this or found a way to restore it without Painting because these are not painted black its black plastic. sigh.. I'll start a thread on this. Also the flash makes it look worse than it does to the eye haha. I guess the previous owner loved automatic car washes.
Not sure if this will help, but spraying WD40 on to a towel and wiping the plenum covers giving them a light coat improved the look of my covers. Give it a try.
Mine looked very similar to yours, although perhaps not quite so mottled. I used Turtle Wax Trim restorer. I applied it very liberally and let it set for several days till it appeared to soak in a bit. Then applied it again and again, each time letting it soak in for several days. Patience finally paid off. My covers now look brand new and have stayed that way for over a year and a half so far. They are a matt patina black with a low luster sheen, just what I wanted. If they ever start to deteriorate, I'll just give them a touch up coat. This stuff works very well. I did everything else in the engine bay with this stuff with the same results. I'm very pleased with this stuff. It flat works!!
Just back from a drive. Beautiful day and first time my girlfriend has been in the car. On the way home I ran it 1st-3rd shifting at redline and she said "that sounds fu$%*#& amazing" I agree. Too much fun Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes it didn't do anything special. And I'll give the othe stuff a shot. That trim stuff sounds like back to black. I have some of that I'll give it a try as well I mean what can it hurt
I've used this many times to fix faded plastic. Put it on and evenly wipe with a towel multiple times until it looks nice and even. Bumper & Trim Reconditioner, 8 Ounces - Griot's Garage
Guys the 355 one of the most beautiful Ferrari's ever, but you know that. If I ever get back into the fworld it will be on a 355B (gated, manual, stick, MT6, manual, clutch, non-F1).

Very cool! ^^^ must say that looks like a lot of fun, it's been a long time since I've been on a road course.
Geno, I sold my GTB two years ago. It was a difficult thing for me to do also. It became a collector car...and I'm not a collector. You'd love the F355 B. Barry
Great footage Barry. That 360 driver held you up plenty. Seems like someone should go over the etiquette of the track with him. Thanks for the video. Robb
