Can someone who owns a Gran Turismo S take a photo or two for me of what the stock exhaust (mufflers) look like from the underside of the car? Please email to speedbbb (at) aol.com if you would please. Thanks!

why not just go to the Maserati dealer? They are almost certain to have one in their inventory.

I might just have to do that, but I'm hoping someone here might have a picture of their car on a lift and be able to give me an idea of what the stock mufflers look like.

The exhaust box itself is pretty much near to the stock non S model muffler. however there is another tube that goes inside the muffler box (exhaust bypass pipes) and the air exits I believe the inner exhaust tips. so once the valve is open, the exhaust is not muffled. Once closed the valves, the exhaust is muffled and exits the outer tips, giving a less throaty sound.

Anyway, I have custom made my exhaust using the non S exhaust to bypass the exhaust. It sounds very aggressive with no drone and most of the times I can't help by roll down my window just to hear it!

S.Ratha, that's really good information, thanks for posting it.

Do you happen to have your car on a lift currently? I'm wondering how large the exhaust resonator (central muffler) is on the car, because I'd like to perhaps get one and use it in a custom application. I can't find the dimensions anywhere. Could you perhaps measure it for me?

Even if your car isn't on a lift and you can get on the floor of your garage and get me an approximate length measurement, that would be extremely helpful. You can see a pic of it in this topic: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=253703

I would need the measurement from the inlets where it connects to the pipes in that pic to the tip of the outlets after the X.

Thanks so much if you can help me...

Also, do you have a video of your car running from the outside? At idle, low RPM, and mid-to-high rev?
