Nice pictures Greg! Especially the 2nd and 4th one. Btw can anyone tell me why US spec F40s have those black front lips and black bump strips at the front nose and the back? Can't these be taken off? I can't imagine this is determined by law. F40s look so much nicer without those things, like Euro versions.
I don't where that particular picture was taken. I saw it in this thread: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=53592 The cars at the end look like a 575 and a Modena, but I'm not too sure myself.
I got a lot of pics from Enzos F40s and F50s from the Ferrari Racing Days. Here are some of them. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Woaaaaah that last picture is really awesome! Thanx Martin, really nice! Did you make these pictures yourself? If not, can you tell me which site these pictures come from? Were they in high-resolution?
when was that? was it a 2004 event? does anybody have links to other sites that cover this same event?
I found this one lately, the '04 racing days on the Nürburgring. Haven't had the time yet to see all of them (1000+!!) http://www.exoticsonroad.de/racingdays/
The Event was in September 2004 and I took all these pics. I have a lot more and over 2 hours of video. There where 9 Enzos, 9 F50s, more then 10 F40s and 3 288 GTOs.But "only" the 9 Enzos, 5 F50s, 5 F40s and the 3 288 GTOs raced. The number plates of the Enzos are: country - plate- s/n - colour D - OS 06115 - 130516 - red CZ - 3A7 6565 - 135889 - red L - 38647 - 138647 - black D - WES F 5 - 129765 - red D - EL NK 44 - 136732 - red D - K 0666 - 136079 - black D - REG 04195 - 130858 red CH - SO 5160 - 136521 - yellow of the last Enzo I have no information The F50s country - plate- s/n - colour D - PAF F 50 - ? - red CH - SO 5150 - ? - yellow D - WI YY 999 - ? - red D - B EK 1 - ? - red B - NEQ 209 - ? - yellow D - GÖ VX 50 - ? - red D - BO SF 50 - 107080 - red D - AC JJ 50 - ? - red D - MS 06589 - ? - red The F40s country - plate- D - ES OF 40 D - N FO 400 D - DAH TK 40 D - WI YV 999 D - WÜ ND 40 ? - F 40 NTS D - WW C 40 D - BIT F 40 D - GG F 400 D - HH KD 520 D - STA RT 40 D - LL SP 400 D - D F 4040 ? - LDK 06883 D - NR 0683 ? - XR 35 PD D - ME N 2 D - SZ 060138 and some more pics Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
This is a Dutch license plate, so NL - XR 35 PD Amazing stuff Martin. If you have them in high resolution, could you send me some of those pics? ([email protected]) Love the ones with the cars together on the track (Like the 3 enzo's driving together or the 9 enzo's on the starting grid) Thanks in advance!
Really nice site Bob, lots of nice pictures! What a great event. I am really considering now to go to this year's edition.
Ruud, thanks for the compliment. For going this year... I guess you have to wait for another year. The german Ferrari Racing Days are every 2 years, so the next edition will be 2006. Pls someone correct me if I'm wrong. It is worth the wait, however. Bob
Hmm, too bad... Well, I hadn't heard about it untill lately but I guess this has to be one of the greatest Ferrari events of the world.
You can try Spa Ferrari Days 24-25-26 june. Not as many F-cars as the german days, but an event you will not forget at the best and most beautifull track in the world.
Yes, Ferrari Racing Days are only every two years. As far as I know were the last 2 times over 1000 Ferraris there (see pic and there was another big parkinglot for red cars and one for non-red ones). You can also try the AVD Oldtimer Grand Prix (12.-14. August Nürburgring). I heard thet the Ferrari Club Germany has its own tent and in past years were allways many Ferraris there. I will go there this year the first time and I hope that there are some nice historic Ferraris too. I cant identify any of them on can anyone help? or have links with closer-up pics so that i can see the plates?
Here are pics from all Enzos with plates that were on the Nürburgring. As I said before I have no info about the 9th one. Just some pics but you can't see the plates on them.
