Other than the length apparently being stretched, its lines are very fluid. Not bad at all. Hopefully it will be available sans PDK.
I have yet to see a mainstream production Porsche I thought was really good looking. And that includes my Cayman. Dave
The closest renders so far...these just surfaced not long ago to basically confirm they arent "real" Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Waiting for interior picks. I'm considering a cabrio if the back seats are bigger than the 993/996/997 variants.
Funny, isn't it? The more a 911 looks like a Cayman, the better it looks. Come on, Porsche, man up. Give us a Turbo Cayman. (Or better yet, a GT3 Cayman.) I'll pay up for the g-damn car. Will you just make the SOB! Dale
Probably because the '911' is getting close to being 50 years old, so the novelty is basically nonexistent, even on nicer iterations like the 997 and maybe forthcoming 991. But: The 993 C2 coupe is a handsome car -- a British interpretation of the old German design. I'm not generally a 911 fan, but the 993 looks taut and expensive. The 987 iteration of the Boxster is also very nicely drawn, probably their best since the 356 Speedster (The 986 Boxster was awkward, so I think the Boxster is overlooked these days.) They're too common to get excited about, but taken solely as a design it's arguably better than anything Ferrari has done since the 308/328. (photo credit Symbolic) Image Unavailable, Please Login
