What a great event it turned out to be. The President of "The Maserati Club" said that this was the largest Maserati exclusive car show on record for the Southeast! We even had some other cars show up that we had come in just to share the warmth of the shop :) Including two Lamborghini Countachs. The weather tried to dampen our spirits but it never could. And we were lucky enough that it stayed dry enough for us to go out and enjoy our Maseratis on a spirited two hour drive in the GA foothills. Here are some pictures that were taken from the show and the drive.

BTW, Thanks to everyone that brought a Maserati and everyone who came out to enjoy the show. I plan on doing this again for next year and hopefully it will be an even bigger turnout!

It was great getting together with the folks you only knew through the web. The turn out was outstanding and the selection of models incredible. I can't wait to see Ivan's 3500 prototype in final trim, it will be a thing of beauty.
Friday's Cinco de Mayhem was an easy way to meet everyone before the show and to listen to the melodic tones of the ever popular Maserati Singers :) I wish I could have gone on the mountain drive and dinner on Saturday but I just didn't want to push the envelope with the ignition switch developing a mind of it's own. The car shut off on me twice just on my 7 mile trip home.
Thanks to Ivan for the tutoring session on how to remove the Bora's ignition switch. I had it removed and in my lap about 45 minutes after I pulled into the garage!
Again . . . A FINE JOB to all that put the event together!!!!!

    Rick . . . .

Looks like you had a great turn out. I really wish we wouldn't have planned the same day. Hope to see you at one of the next events.
