    Thanks! That was Singapore and Italy last year.

    Also visited Montreal during F1. Although Singapore was more posh, I liked the atmosphere better at Montreal. A lot more heritage. The city gives itself over to F1 fever in a way that Singapore or Kuala Lumpur just can't match. I liked that it was totally acceptable to bring in your own food drink so long as you were discreet. Oddly some Americans ahead of us were both marvelling and lamenting that there wasn't more overt "security". Sheesh! In the party frenzy of the weekend festivities, we accidentally wandered into a "gentlemen's club". Hilarity ensued. Good times.

    Montreal is easily the Best venue for seeing F1. The city is alive, close to the track, and it is possible to be dining and having a cocktail with Giancarlo Fisichella.

    Totally agree! Drivers and mechanics are readily available, and even if they are not, locals are friendly (for a change - IMHO Quebecois are usually fickle like cats). We really enjoyed out time there. Very relaxed and not nearly as formally commercialized as some other venues.

    Some cool F1 photos Verdegrrl !! and some neat visitors Erik.

    These are from one afternoon @ 6 years ago at Puerto Banus - a marina town on the south coast of Spain.

    We were docked in Algeciras and the docking pilot told me to go there, so with only a few hours of shore leave, I rented a car and drove up with camera in hand.... so all of this shot in about two hours.... maybe less.... just walking around.

    None of the cars are in two photos...
