Oh my, watching P3 on Speed. Unbelievable if I didn't see it. Anything left of it, I think even the feathers misted into atoms. Maybe a new way to split atoms even! :D

Watching it but haven't been paying too much attention. How far into the session was it? Did the announcers see it?

Speaking of which, how about that groundhog Anthony Davidson took out last week. This week the team had a stuffed animal sitting on the car in memory of the little guy.

I've been half watching too, they showed slow-mo on it about 2 minutes before I made the post.

Here's a squirrel I found walking the Montreal track back to subway after the race last week.

Shhhh!!! To much of this, and we'll have PETA joining the tree huggers lined up against the F1 races.

When they started the tunnel work in the Big Dig, I heard that they displaced a number of rats from the area into the city. When the city called in exterminators to deal with them, they got protests against cruelty towards wharf rats.

I got quite a laugh out the diappearing pidgeon - just a whisp of smoke! I missed the ground hog at Montreal.

Hopefully somebody will but them on the internet.

I actually don't have any torrent software on this computer at the moment, and now that I know the results it wouldn't be as fun to watch. Thanks for the link tho, they get those torrents posted up fast.

I got a big laugh out of that dumb pidgeon. Fisichella just kept on going and going and going and eventually..whoomph! Just colorless mist, vaporized little pigeon. I wonder if Fisico could see the poor little feathered fiend? I missed the groundhog though...

Now that you mention it, you'd think loud noises would keep the critters away.

And yet birds hang out at airport runways, too.

    Bird brains. ;)

I just watched that practice session, had it on DVR. I love the commentary: "Oh no, there's a pidgeon on the track!...................There was a pidgeon on the track"...............Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.........:)

When I was a stupid, slush-brained kid in high school in Virginia City NV of all places, I ran into a flock of pidgeons in my '78 Ford T-Bird. Literally. They were sitting in the street by the middle school eating God-knows-what. I saw them and decided not to slow down. About ten of them bounced off the front of that land barge I was driving, simply because they have gotten used to cars and people being around them. If you walk up to them slowly, you can kick them in the ass on the sidewalks. Virginia City pidgeons have to be the tamest "wild" animals in the country.

Man, my car has hit 7 coyotes in the last two years with 5 confirmed kills :( I can only imagine seeing a smaller creature vapourize before your eyes.
