Here is more of the info that I have gotten some from the court documents as well as people that were there: In early 2008 Navarro sold a Mercedes CLK GTR Roadster an exotic grey market type car for $1,350,000 to David Dinh of California. Dinh wired the money for the car into the escrow account of Attorney Jim Rainy Esq. of West Palm Beach. Jim Rainy Esq., alledgedly, without proper paperwork released the funds to Navarro the NEXT DAY. Money disappeared and the car disappeared. Currently Mr. Dinh has a judgement for over $2 million against Navarro which is detailed in an earlier post in this thread. The seller/owner of the car is a Dr. Gerald Berube of Naples Florida. The car was located at HWA AMG Mercedes which is located in Afalterbach Germany. Navarro approached Berube in regard to reselling the car and asked for the title which Berube gave to Navarro ostenstibly for the purpose of having the car imported into the United States as the buyer was in the USA(dinh) . With the Title in hand Navarro had the car picked up from HWA and had the car hidden in Germany. Without the title in hand Berube cannot do anything to get his car back and Navarro has told him if he acts against him he will never see his car again. In the meantime Dinh is trying to collect on his judgement or get the car delivered and local law enforcement seems curiously uninterested in regard to recovery of a million dollar plus stolen vehicle... Right now the buyer and seller do not have the car or the money! From a tax perspective this is interesting because Navarro has the car, worth $1.5 million and collected $1.3 million dollars in cash(minus attorneys fees I am sure) for the car which creates a tax event in this single case of over $3 million of unreported income.

It was odd, especially since I just got off the phone 15 minutes earlier with the investigator who basically told me on the phone that nothing can be done about my car now and that he removed it from the file as being stolen since innocent people own it. He told me an innocent doctor owns it now.
Actually when I couldn't cash the check, Piero has told me to send it back because he will write a good one. But he never did. I don't know why I didn't get the cash before I gave him the car they told me that's how it's done, and I trusted them. It was exactly a few days before my husband died, I was not 100%, and as my husband was dying, judge Larry Fidler's brother whose name is Bob (Robert) Fidler, told me that he promised my husband he will take care of me, and I remember going to AAA with him, because he told me I have to put the car in my name from my husband's name before I sell it and while it got transfered in my name, this Bobby Fidler put his name on the car. I didn't pay much attention to that because I was running back and fourth as my husband died. I thought, I'm in good hands, I mean Piero was a Ferrari dealer, and a dealer of exotic cars, and I thought these men were legitimate. Then after that happend the car was gone and I kept waiting to get paid for it. It's been six years of promises.

Cant the guy that gave him the title to the Benz go to DMV with a police report and claim that it was lost or stolen and get a replacement title, or have DMV put some type of message on the title so that it cant be sold? If it was German title, I dont know how it works, but maybe the DMV in the US can do something. I could have sworn that I saw one of these Mercedes for sale on the internet somewhere a few weeks ago, but cant remember where. Arent there only a few of them in the US?
