Ok here is the deal, i take a 11 E/EE Newbalance , but it seems Piloti's only come in a D width.
How uncomfortable will i be if i get a 11 D Piloti? or would i be better off with a size 11.5 D piloti? Or should i scrap it all together and just wear a thin soled casual shoe where i can try it on. Piloti's would have to be mail ordered as there is no place close to me that sells them.

I never buy a shoe I cant try on first. Its too much of a toss up. I have ordered a few shoes and only wore them once.

That being said, I don't think getting a half size up will help with the tightness around your feet. If anything it will be more uncomfortable. Maybe get your size and then buy a shoe stretcher.
