The excellent American magazine "Collectible Automobile" generally deals nearly totally with American cars, and such is also the case with the new October issue. (One of the articles deals with my very first car, the 1970 Chevy Nova.)

But this issue has some appeal for ferraristi as well, since there is a very nice article about Battista "Pinin" Farina, founder of the carrozzeria which (in one-name form) is still responsible for design of the road-going production Ferraris. While the article talks a lot about his relationship with American car companies like Nash, his contributions for other manufacturers are not slighted. A nice photo has "Pinin" standing behind a Ferrari 250 LM.

Look for this issue in "Barnes & Noble" stores.

You might also like "Pinin" Farina's memoirs, Born With the Automobile, which was published in an English language edition by Automobilia in 1993. It should be possible to find a used copy.
