What are your thoughts? Is this the design Ferrari would have paid for?

They are the masters of car design. Man, I wish Ferrari would partner with them once again.

 

I really like that a lot. Damn shame it doesn’t cost $300k :/.

It will be exciting to see how it measures up to reality In 2020
Sadly, I know my reality doesn’t have big enough numbers in the bank account to afford it anyways

 

It's quite the machine! However I do see plenty of McLaren in it and LaFerrari.

To be honest I was hoping for something a bit more unique. Unfortunately all the supercars are starting to look the same

Not at all IMHO. This is indeed the future of the performance car. Which is why I was some what disappointed in the design. They could have gone completely wild with the design. The packaging issues ICE engines present are non existent in an electric car. This thing could have looked like a car from Blade Runner if they wanted it too.

 

simple, elegent, beautiful but post-pininfarina ferraris are far more exciting than this.

 

I see some 720 resemblance.

 

Looks like they picked the best bits of Ferrari’s, Paganis, Mclarens and lambos, melded them all together, and made a very beautiful car.

However, let’s face it, if you went 218mph in it, and accelerated like you meant it, I suspect the battery would expire within ten minutes like all these supposed performance battery cars, and you’d be sat there for nine hours while it charged up (and if you are in the UK, that’s after the AA towed you to a place with an actual charging point, which are not exactly sprouting up everywhere at all), whereas put a V8/10/12 in there and you have a fantastic machine with almost the same performance and no down sides, and with the noise that suits the looks as well

 

Looks very generic to me.

 

Actually the better question is, will you buy it if it's a ferrari badge?

I just adore pininfarina design. If this is F8, I will buy it even though it's turbo.

 

I like the rear. The rest looks too much 458-LaFerrari-Pista to me. Not bad, but not fresh.

If it was a Ferrari F8 succesor I´d criticize it for being too much conservative, and this is supposed to be a new car from a different manufacturer.

 

Looks like a cross between a Lambo and a McLaren. No thanks. I think the new F8 looks awesome!

The front appears to have a wing (maybe active?) between the headlights. Looks pretty innovative to me.

 

I never buy electric car no what hp or coach if you say future of performance cars i say thats to bad internal combustion engine most exciting power plant in the world and no electric car will ever take its place i dont care the design most young people dont care dont know anything real automobiles F8 is incredible to bad new F Cars cant get manual gearbox i cant wait until take my 328 out with new suspension you can have electric cars electric never compare to driving experience of a gated shifted Ferrari or mustang lol

 

I love the design but the weight of this car is supposedly pretty high.

The next revolution for electric cars needs to be weight reduction.

 

Good for them, but it looks like a Pista with McLaren headlights.

 

It’s nice for sure, but so are a handful of sort of look-alike exotics nowadays as many have mentioned. Gonna be hard to ‘countach’ the exotic car world ever again...
