My first guess is a leak in the steering rack

It can also be antifreeze/coolant. Does it feel a little thicker like a transmission oil, or is it thinner like water (but slippery)?
If it's thicker, probably from steering rack. If it is thin, it will be coolant. The coolant pipes run to the front of the car down the center of the car, and connect with ribber hoses to the right and left radiators.
The best thing it can be is a loose hose clamp. It can also be a bad hose, a radiator leak, or a steering rack leak or maybe even a suspension lifter leak (but not sure what fluid it uses) and I'm sure a few other related components that I didn't mention. If you take the underbelly cover off of the front, it should be very easy to diagnose. I hope it is a easy fix! Keep us posted.

If you have the front axle lift it may well be hydraulic fluid. Time for a sniff test! Based on the photos the viscosity seems high. And it's the right color for the front axle lift hydraulic fluid...

Hopefully the OP gets lucky and it's just a hose for the lifter or something like that
